In this hands-on workshop, women veterans learned the art of traditional kimchi fermentation from scratch, with a focus on sustainability, cultural roots, and food as a form of connection. Beyond the fermentation process, participants also explored versatile ways to cook with kimchi — from fried rice and savory pancakes to broths and stews — making it a practical, empowering skill they could take into their everyday kitchens.
